Hi, I'm the specialist behind Comfort Wax. I started this studio in Amsterdam because I believe waxing should feel like a moment of care, not a chore to get through.

Good to know
Most clients feel a brief pinch that fades quickly. We use a gentle, low-temperature wax and a technique designed to minimise discomfort, and it gets more comfortable with regular treatments.
Around 0.5cm, roughly the length of a grain of rice. If it's your first time, avoid shaving for at least 2 weeks beforehand so the wax can grip properly.
Most clients enjoy 3 to 5 weeks of smooth skin, as waxing removes hair from the root and slows regrowth over time.
Gently exfoliate a day before your appointment; this helps remove dead skin cells and allows ingrown hairs to lift, resulting in a cleaner wax. Avoid sun exposure, moisturiser or numbing cream right before your treatment.
Avoid hot showers, saunas, sun exposure and tight clothing for 24 hours. Keep the area clean and gently moisturised from day two onwards to keep skin soft.
Make sure to avoid aggressive skincare products (such as retinol or acids) for at least one week before your appointment. Please arrive with clean skin, free from makeup, oils, or creams.
